Like most girls, I love getting all dressed and dolled up! So when my Rotary Club had an event a few weeks ago, I got very excited! I knew I wanted to wear something pretty and girly, but I wasn't sure which dress I wanted to wear. Then I remembered had just purchased this polka dot dress from Anthropologie and I was set! I mean, what's more ladylike than a polka dot sundress?! Not only is it cute and occasion-appropriate, but more importantly, the light and breezy fabric is perfect for this miserable summer heat! Haha.
So now that I had decided on the dress, I was on to another fun part: accessorizing! I've been on a mint and turquoise kick lately, so my mind went straight to this necklace and this belt. I love how delicate this necklace is, not to mention its minty color :). This braided belt was the perfect cinching and pop of color add-on as well! Now that my outfit was coming together, I added a few more pieces to complete it. I kept the earrings and bracelets in gold tones, and the clutch and shoes in neutral ones. This way it's all about the dress and the mint / turquoise colors!
Now that my outfit was complete, I finished getting my hair and makeup ready, and soon we were off to our dinner party. The Mr. by my side, great friends, and a cute outfit, definitely a fun night overall! :)

puntos de dama
Como la mayoría de las chicas, ¡me encanta arreglarme y maquillarme! Así que cuando mi Club Rotario tuvo un evento hace unas semanas, ¡me puse muy emocionada! Sabía que quería usar algo bonito y femenino, pero no estaba segura de cuál vestido quería usar. Luego me acordé que acababa de comprar este vestido de lunares en Anthropologie y todo estaba decidido! Quiero decir, ¡¿qué es más de dama que un vestido de lunares?! No sólo es lindo y adecuado para la ocasión, pero más importante aún, ¡su tela ligera y ventilada es ideal para este calor de verano miserable! Jaja.
Así que ahora que había decidido sobre el vestido, ¡seguí a otra fase divertida: los accesorios! He estado encantada con la menta y turquesa últimamente, así que mi mente se fue directamente a este collar y a este cinturón. Me encanta cómo este collar es de delicado, sin mencionar su color menta :). ¡Este cinturón trenzado fue el complemento y toque de color perfecto también! Ahora que mi atuendo iba formándose bien, añadí unas cuantas piezas más para completarlo. Mantuve los aretes y las pulseras en tonos dorados, y el bolso y zapatos en los neutrales. ¡De esta manera todo se trata del vestido y de los colores menta y turquesa!
Ahora que mi atuendo estaba completo, terminé de arreglarme el pelo y el maquillaje, y pronto nos fuimos a nuestra cena. El Mr. a mi lado, buenos amigos, y un atuendo lindo, ¡definitivamente fue una noche divertida! :)
